Why English tea?
Some people will say there are plenty of better teas in the world than the 'English teas' which are sold in England. That may be true, tea conniseurs likely don't appreciate the plain, solid working man's tea from England that is better drunk with milk (and in many cases sugar too).
But that is the beauty - a no nonsense cup, fairly strong and consistent. You can't mess it up by brewing too much/too little or having the wrong temperature water.
And teabags are also good. So convenient - boil the kettle, stick the bag in a mug, pour water on. Voila! You have a cup of tea, quickly, easily and cleanly.
Now granted this wouldn't work with some of your more delicate loose leaf teas, but save those for special occasions when you can get the teapot and bone china out.
English teabags are the best thing for the everyday tea drinker and I urge you to check them out.
