Mysteries of Engraved Stones and How to Carve Out Your Lasting Memories

Engraved Stones and Rocks... unique way to share your thoughts, dreams, love.
From tiny stones, to great big rocks, each natural stone is unique unto itself by nature, and can be made even more unique by your lasting impression of images, words, thoughts, and sentiments custom engraved and carved right into the rock.
You can order engraved stones from online shops such as: Engraved Stones at Giftsprings or find local artisans and craftsmen who can either laser etch or more deeply engrave/carve into the stones by sand blasting. The more adventurous and time enabled can try their hand at learning this new craft and buy the equipment and books to learn how to engrave stones by themselves.
But it's not as easy as it looks! Engraving into stones nowadays is typically a mixture of technology (with art and images starting off first on computers) and artistry by the individual engravers.
Here are some complaints I've heard that would be representative of this- one lady reported she had once gotten an engraved stone that looked like a child's arts and crafts project so of course she was disappointed; another told me last year she had gotten engraved stones for awards to give out but they were laser engraved that time (so not deeply etched) and didn't last well after a few times of handling the stones. So, quality of the stone engraving definitely is better with more practice, and, you have to consider how deeply you want the stone carved into and what their uses will be. If you need a rock engraved more deeply, then sand blasting is probably the way to go.
Now the glowing compliments and happiness with getting engraved stones are much more common! (- thank goodness because I like it when others are as excited about engraved stones as I am!) I think it's hard not to be impressed and inspired by such a creation! Such happy comments from customers are so heartfelt and so touching to hear too.
You know, a fair share of engraved stones are used for memorials and pet memorials. The bad thing about that is that there's sadness and loss. But it's touching to hear, though, that being able to have important sentiments honoring the loved one carved into a stone can help soothe and uplift, if even just a little. It's meaningful to know that the memories will endure, on display in a rock for years and generations to come. It's enduring love, as strong as a rock, expressed in stone, and making history.
