Enki Bilal Short Biography
Enki Bilal was born in Yugoslaviain 1951, he moved to Paris at age 10. He went to the Beaux-Arts for a short while, work for Pilote (a well know magazine publication editing graphic novelists). This is were he published his first short story in 1972. This is were he also met one of his best collaborator, Pierre Christin, a well known scenarist. Over the years Bilal not only published many graphic novels, he also produced films and art exhibitions (in Tokio, Paris, Naples). He produces also artwork for CD and book covers.
