Enslaved by Faeries in an Ocean of Squids
Ranked #4,114 in Squidoo Community, #287,278 overall
My Official Lensography
I used to think that I was just an ordinary work at home mom, but that was then. I now know that I am a Linchpin! I am a lensmaster who proudly holds the title of Giant Squid. I have been married to my best friend for 18 years. We are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters that are smart, silly, spirited, exuberant, imaginative girls who attend Montessori/Liberal Arts School.
Did I mention that I love Squidoo?! I've been here full time for over 2 years now and it's an amazing outlet for all the random thoughts that pour out of this little mind of mine. I actually earn money too. :)

aka: enslavedbyfaeries
My username is in reference to faery lore and the enchanted faery rings that are made of toadstools or wild mushrooms. Humans can be lured into the ring with the faery music. If a human steps into their circle and joins in the wild prancing it could lead to captivity forever in the fairy world.

I Am Proud to be Echelon

I am a member of the giant, crazy, beautiful, dysfunctional Echelon family...the believers in 30 Seconds to Mars.
The fans of 30 Seconds to Mars are more than just screaming girls who are in love with a group of really hot guys who happen to be incredibly talented musicians. 30 Seconds to Mars' fans are like a family to the band and to each other, no matter how far apart they may be.
30 Seconds to Mars has made the news lately about their efforts to help stop global warming with their music video and supporting website for A Beautiful Lie. They also raised $10,000 recently during their build with Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity and the A Brush With Kindness program. This project inspired their fans, the Echelon, to start their own project with Hope Builders which raises funds to build homes internationally.
I am so proud to be Echelon!!
I created lenses about both of 30 Seconds to Mars' Projects. Both of which donate 100% to Earthjustice.

- Wow! Even though we have some of the same interests, you put me to shame with your great and enormous body of work here. I have seen mention of so much of your work throughout the site. Saving as a Favorite so I can come back and view more of your work. I think that may take me some time. :D 10 stars! Oh, that's right, I can only do 5. Well, more to come one way or another. So glad to have found you at RedGage. :D

- Very fascinating getting to know you through your lense.... You have to be the first person I have come across who also calls "My So Called Life" their favorite of all time. I thought the emotional depth of that show was amazing! I could totally relate to Claire Danes character and was CRUSHED when the show ended! I am fairly new on Squidoo but I look forward to reading your work.

- A most beautiful design. The separators really tie it together so it flows and each section catches the eye for reading. Works very well. Amazing.

- My first visit to Squidoo was to your page for Jared Leto as Jordan Catalano. I just browsed your links from there and realized that, with the exception of the vegetarianism, we are much alike.
I love all of your pages and it is good to see another adult that feels and sometimes acts like a teenager.
FYI, another awesome faerie book is called Fairies by Alison Maloney. There are a ton of projects and recipes, it's so great I went and got one for myself after giving it to my 6 year old daughter for her birthday.
Have a great day and never stop being the crazy creative mom you are.
Pssst (my family also had cereal and $1 menu stuff for a week while I read the Twilight saga) tell them not to feel too bad, they weren't the only ones. lol

- This is really neat! I hadn't realized how popular "Twilight" had gotten until I learned about it on Squidoo. LOL. I lead a way too sheltered life.
Thanks for stopping by my lens on Killing our Pets. My vet carries Royal Canine and they were part of the recall also.
I'll have to visit more of your lenses. I am especially interested in the "cake in a mug". LOL

- Nice lensography. I have three teen boys who are now lensmasters. If you think teen daughters are like riding a roller coaster, teen boys are like trying to nail jello to a tree! But, I wouldn't change it for anything.
