Anyone who loves Entenmann's baked products will flip for this new cookbook full of Entenmann's inspired recipes.

Half of the book shares recipes that are called "Almost Homemade" and inspires you to take ordinary Entenmann's cakes and cookies and turn them into extraordinary desserts. The other half of the book shares "start from scratch" recipes for baking your own Entenmann's delicious baked goods at home.

I highly recommend the cookbook to anyone who loves baking and who enjoys Entenmann's baked goods.

Entenmann's Big Book of Baking Cookbook Review

A truly awesome dessert recipe cookbook!

Entenmann's Big Book of Baking
iconwith an introduction written by Entenmann's Bakery, Master Baker, Kathleen Robbins who worked at Entenmann's for 23 years in research and development of their fabulous baked goods. Can you imagine? What a fun job that must be, testing and tasting recipes all day long!

The recipes she's included in the Big Book of Baking are easy to follow and can be mastered by bakers of all experience levels, from young to old, and for new cooks as well as experienced bakers.

I was so excited to find easy recipes that use Entenmann's products that can be taken from already delicious, to extraordinary fit-for-a-king desserts AND start from scratch recipes for some of my family's all-time favorite Entenmann's baked goods including; Banana Crunch cake and Entenmann's famous Chocolate Chip cookies. The contents also include yummy recipes for Donuts, Crumb Cakes, Muffins, Loaf Cakes, Brownies, Cookies, and Pies.

The only disappointment is that there are no cupcake recipes and the book doesn't include their Marshmallow topped chocolate cake recipe. I'm hoping they're saving those for book two.

There's even indulgent cakes that would be perfect for parties and larger gatherings but many of the desserts are intended for everyday enjoyment.

I think it's worth mentioning that this is THE only cookbook I've ever taken home (and I have a library full of cookbooks) that my husband AND son both took an interest in and sat looking lovingly at the great photos in the book to choose which recipes I should try first. My husband even said, "Don't leave this one sitting around. I want to taste all of these."

I've just started working my way through all of the scrumptiousness that is included in this terrific book and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves dessert!

Book Description

Focusing on fresh ingredients and simple preparation, Entenmann's Big Book of Baking makes it easy for bakers of all levels to create Entenmann s classic baked goods with a homespun touch. Recipes range from favorites like Cinnamon Crumb Cake, Chocolate Cake Donuts, and Banana Crunch Cake, to new ideas such as Blackberry and Apple Loaf Cake, Cranberry Sour Cream Brownies, and even healthy on-the-go snack choices such as Nutty Granola Bars.

With the same care that she brings to the development of Entenmann's supermarket products, master baker Kathleen Robbins relied on her 23 years of experience in testing the book s recipes. I m very excited to bring that expertise to the recipes in this book, assuring that each of the recipes included here works perfectly for every home baker and tastes absolutely delicious, she writes in the book s introduction.

For the die-hard fans of favorites such as Entenmann's All-Butter Loaf cake, the party hostess with no time to cook, and the everyday sweet tooth, Entenmann's Big Book of Baking also includes an Almost Homemade section featuring inventive recipes incorporating Entenmann's classic products.

Are Entenmann's Products Available Where You Live?

I lived in New York most of my life and grew up with Entenmann's baked goods on the table. We were even lucky enough to have an Entenmann's outlet nearby where we could stock up on desserts at discount prices. After moving south I was happy to see Entenmann's baked goods in the stores here BUT I quickly realized that we only get a very limited amount of their huge product line and very few of our all-time favorites are sold here.
