Entrance mats are more important than you may think!

A good entrance mat is key in reducing the amount of dirt grime and moisture that enters a building.

A good quality mat can trap up to 80 - 90% of dirt and prevent it from entering your premises.

The main 2 types of backing for an entrance mat is rubber and pvc vinyl. Vinyl backed mats are lighter and cheaper and are an ideal low cost solution. Rubber backed entrance mats are more slip resistant and many are suitable for machine washing.

At least 15ft of matting is optimum to ensure that each foot comes into contact with the entrance mat at least 3 times.
