Free Entrelac Crochet Pattern

This Free Entrelac Crochet Pattern is a Turkey Tea Cozy. The base is made from three autumnal colors in two separate pieces and sewn together The top of the turkey is made -amigurumi style -and then sewn to the top.

This pattern does NOT teach the Entrelac crochet technique but does include resources for you to learn from. I made an Entrelac resource on Squidoo and it includes a video tutorial by Crochet Geek aka Teresa from Youtube.

Supplies

Yarn, Hooks, and More

Yarn:
You will need yarn in three different colors for the Entrelac Crochet pieces. I used Red Heart yarn in orange, red, and yellow. You will also need brown yarn for the Turkey head.

Hook:
Crochet hook size H

Instructions for Entrelac Crochet Pieces

2 Sides Need to be Made

You will make two separate entrelac crochet pieces that are 7 rows long. *Details are in the printable PDF file
Each diamond is approximately 1 ½" x 1 ½"
Side #1: (red, yellow, orange, red, yellow, orange, red)
Side #2: (yellow, red, orange, yellow, red, orange, yellow)

Once Side 1 and Side 2 are crocheted:

1. You will need to weave in all the loose ends

2. Mark ends with stitch markers [be sure to mark around your particular pot] top spout, bottom spout, top handle, bottom handle

3. Sew ends together. [marked ends] (see picture previous page)

4. Set this aside
