Pro and Con of Electronic Publishing (eBook)

To assist you with making your decision consider the following PRO and CON arguments for E publishing.

When you write your book, it is recommended that you e-publish your book before you have your book printed on paper through whatever means you choose. Once you read the PRO section you will understand.

The Pro Argument

With E-Publishing consider the Pro argument:

  1. Has the book "out there" quickly... even with an incomplete manuscript you can start making money.

  2. Has a 90-95% profit margin with complete control by the author Because you are not paying for someone else to produce your book.

  3. The book is delivered instantly and is always current.

The Con Argument

Here's the Con argument on E-Publishing:

  1. Won't likely get you on the New York Times best-seller list.

  2. Lose people who want a hard copy book or don't frequent the Internet.

E-Publishing Summary

An eBook gives the entrepreneurial author the credibility and expertise in the mind of the potential client quicker, easier, less expensively, with less work, still leaving all the other publishing options as potential future ventures.

With technology to produce, market, and deliver the eBook put on "automatic" producing residual income, it leaves plenty of time for you to build a business and produce additional products and services to expand the influence of the book and grow a thriving business.
