I have not conventionally published a book, but I do have an ebook available for download on my site, www.growing-entrepreneur.com. It is filled with useful affiliate links (ones that I actually use); and that method seems to be working pretty well.
I have used lulu.com to "publish" a book of my daughter's stories and poems. It turned out wonderfully! Keep in mind, when you use lulu, that the actual pages (for 8x10 sized book) will be much larger than what you see on the screen. I know, it seems obvious, but I wish I had realized that before I submitted her book. At least I know for next time! And, yes, I will use lulu again. It was wonderful.
