- I like the hanging the clothes on the line the best....for one reason. the fresh scent of the clothes is like nothing else. No hot clothes drier can imitate that fresh air fragrance.

- Great tips - Here are some more that can save energy:
1. Turn down the hot water heater
2. Install low-flow shower heads and take shorter showers
There are so many simple changes that each of us can make to have a serious impact on the amount of energy and waste we use.

- There is a great selection of green and recycled available these days and we should really look into every detail in order to ensure that the product or service that we are about to avail of is made with quality. Building as well as green cleaning supplies are gaining popularity these days as the awareness of energy and environmental resources strengthens in order to ensure future generations that they can still experience nature the way we do as of now. I do hope that more people will turn green not only with their cleaning habits but with their entire lifestyle and be good examples for others.

- I do things like dry my clothes on a clothesline and cycle to work, but I believe that the only thing that will be effective is political action that encourages the use of renewable energy sources. I think a good idea would be to raise the federal gasoline tax, which is still set at the 1993 rate of 18.4 cents a gallon. That figure was not indexed for inflation, so the tax has effectively been decreasing year by year. The revenue raised by the gas tax is now used for building roads and bridges, which is a good thing, but I think that the tax should be raised and some percentage of the revenue dedicated to developing alternative fuels and eco-friendly cars.

- I'm always keen on learning more about how my household can help reduce its impact on the environment while also saving money. It's a pity eco-friendly products seem to be the most expensive on my shop's shelves so I don't buy them but I have started using vinegar and water to clean my windows and I'm starting to reduce my consumption of bleach and other harmful cleaning products; I'm using bread soda and soda crystals to clean everything in my home.

- Great Lens!
One thing I've started doing is Composting. It's amazing how many things can be composted. For example get a shredder and chop up your junk mail (the stuff you still get after you follow the advice in step one...LOL) then just toss it into your compost pile or use it for mulch right out of the shredder bucket. Works great.

This lens contains several (the junk mail, arbico organics, and the programmable thermostat). Also, I love the picture of the before and during earth hour.
Well done - five stars for you, young lady! :)
