Epic Movies We Love

This is a list of epic movies we love. Epic movies are long, magnificently produced, and truly grand in setting, production, and proportion. If you can sit through at least 2 and half hours, you can enjoy the movies, but with your own DVD movies there is no problem when you have to take an occasional break. You can always go back if you missed something or didn't quite get the plot.
These epic movies stood the test of time and should continue to be cherished in the years to come. This list is not complete and we plan to add more epic movies based on readers' feedbacks and some more we have yet to watch.

- Some brilliant films here, and nice to see that you have spotted the recent Russian version of Taras Bulba (I love the Yul Brynner one as well, though). How about adding Zulu, Master and Commander and The Vikings?
