How to Use 'Three Lines of Script' to Triple Profits from Your Opt-in List

Do you use scripts to maximize conversions and profits from your email campaigns?
If you don't, let me introduce you to an age-old script that marketers, both online and offline, have been using to increase profits from their promotions for years. It is called the 'Postscript'- P.S for short.
A P.S is a short message put at the end of a sales message to convey additional information that was not included in the body copy. Consider it as a brief personal blurb that includes something catchy you did not include or was inappropriate in your main message.
Now, how can you use this to increase profits from your online business or your opt-in list?
First, you have to know WHY and HOW you should use this script in your email promotions and web copy.
It is a proven fact that most times when a prospect reads sales messages on websites and in emails, they often skim through them, reading the headline and instinctively scrolling all the way down to view the price. I am guilty of that too. See why you will want to put a P.S in your messages as since it is near the price, you can easily use it to capture a prospect's attention. Besides, the postscript also creates a personal connection between you and the reader.
Unto the WHY. But before that, what makes a P.S increase response rates? It's this: It contains an offer that compels the reader to take action. Remember this. Infact, let me rephrase it. Your postscript must literally push your reader over the edge to make him buy that product. There are different types of P.S that you can use to boost your conversion rates.
1. You can use a testimonial to form a postscript. This is very effective in appealing to skeptical prospects and those who want to see real human proof. For better effectiveness, use a testimonial from a popular and well established Internet marketer. If your product is good, you should have no trouble finding that.
2. Discount Offer Postscript: During product launches, you can JV with product owners to offer a special discount to your list members. Or if it's a product of yours, you can offer a discount or a coupon code along with it. This will give them more reason to take you on your unbeatable offer.
3. The OoP.S: Call this the 'Oops, I forgot' P.S You want to catch your prospect's attention one last time. Use this as a thoughtful reminder of the additional bonuses and gifts they will get if they purchase the product right now, through the link you give them below. Make them know they can only get it through you, and remind them of its value. If you do affiliate marketing, this one trick alone of putting a P.S in your message to your list, reminding them of additional bonuses they will get buying through your link will skyrocket your conversions and set you a world apart from the pack of unsuccessful affiliate marketers out there.
In summary, there are creative ways you can use postscripts to entice people to act. Why don't you take action now and become a more successful email marketer? If direct marketers employ it to great success, you can too.
