Epsom salt uses
Epsom salt is, along with baking soda, witch-hazel and duct tape, near the top of my list of my favorite multipurpose stuff.
I opened this lens to collect and share information about using and buying epsom-salt.
Epsom salt, a hydrous form of magnesium sulfate, is used as a laxative, fertilizer and bath tonic. I keep it on hand, always. Going forward, there is a lot to add to this lens, including featured related lenses by others.

I never stay at home without it, and I know I can always find it online.
Simple epsom salt bath:
Pour one cup each of epsom salts, baking soda and non-iodized sea salt into the water running into the tub.
Then soak for at least ten minutes.

Epsom salt laxative:
Dissolve two to four level teaspoons in a tall glass full of water, for adults and children over 12.
For children under 12, dissolve one to two level teaspoons in a tall glass full of water.
Flavor with grapefruit, lemon or lime juice, if you hate the taste.

- I have not used it yet but was planning to use it as i suffer severe muscle pain in the legs after playing or running. Thanks for the info, Nice work
