I love horses and I love acupuncture... Great lens! :) I wrote a lens titled "Does Acupuncture Hurt?" and published it last night. Curious as to whether or not it hurts horses! I hope not. ;) No doubt it improves their health.

I saw acupuncture used in carps (fishes), but I have never seen it used on horses. This is great information, thank you for sharing it. Keep it up!

this is an outstanding squidoo i never thought that acupuncture also works well also with animals this is very interesting. I love this stuff give it a five star rating. If acupuncture also works well with animals I guess eft training
can too will work cause they have the same technique as what acupuncture does.

Acupuncture fascinates me, but I'm not sure I'd have the courage to try it. That's amazing that it works on horses. Interesting, 5 star lens! Beautiful horse photographs.

I put you under my favorites. My yorkies my need this some day.

I'm wondering if it would do me any good, this is the only thing i haven't tried for my pain.

Thanks ArtSiren! The needles are much the same, just a somewhat longer!
  • ArtSiren Jun 27, 2008 @ 8:06 pm | delete
What an interesting lens! Are the acupuncture needles the same size as the ones used for humans, or do they have to be bigger? I've had acupuncture treatment myself - never thought of it being used for horses and other animals.

Can you believe our Quarterhorse, Roanie, is getting a visit from her acupunturist this Saturday? Small world.
