When It Comes to Buying an eReader 2011 Has Many Choices
Welcome to the year of the eReader; 2011 promises to be big for eReaders, and a lot of that is due to the overwhelming number of choices now available.
People didn't quite know what to make of the Amazon Kindle eReader when it burst onto the scene a few years ago. When it became a runaway success, competing book retailers and electronics companies both took note. Just a few short years after the original Kindle was launched, several different brands now offer an eReader.
2011 is the best year yet to buy an eReader, thanks to the latest generation's expanded features. While the original Kindle eReader was still great for reading books on the go, it's no match for the newest models. Newer versions feature a whole suite of updated features, from increased storage space to the ability to download new media without having to use a computer. Screen sizes have increased, weight has decreased, and the use of electronic ink makes reading with an eReader easier on the eyes than a traditional book.
If you've been on the fence about buying an eReader, now's the time to change your mind. The latest eReaders come equipped with some great new features, but are still available at affordable prices.

Kindle eReader Comparison to Others on the Market
Consumers Give Kindle eReader Reviews in Abundance
The Kindle eReader is Amazon's #1 best-selling product, and has been for more than 2 years. This is no small feat, considering that Amazon sells millions of different products. The Kindle is also the top item on the site's "Wish Lists," which act as individual gift registries and give customers a place to "save" items they want to come back and buy later. As you might imagine from a product with that much popularity, the Kindle has more 5-star reviews than any other item Amazon sells. Each generation of the Amazon Kindle has thousands of reviews from customers, with some models bearing more than 10,000.
A surprising amount of Kindle eReader reviews are from customers who have owned multiple versions of the device, or who have purchased different eReader brands. These reviewers provide invaluable information on the differences between the Kindle 2 and Kindle DX, for example, or between the Kindle and Barnes & Noble's competing Nook eReader. Since the reviews come from real people who own the product, you'll also get lots of information about technical problems or customer service issues with the Kindle or other eReaders.
Click on any of the Kindle links above to be taken to that model's purchase page, which also contains the customer reviews.

Nook eReader Reviews Show It's Fierce Competition for Kindle
What You Need to Know About the Barnes and Noble Nook
The Nook eReader by bookstore Barnes & Noble has had an interesting ride over the past few years. Originally touted as a "Kindle Killer" when it was released, consumers gave it a mixed review. There were a few small technical issues with the original model, and many previous Amazon Kindle owners were upset that they couldn't transfer Kindle e-books onto their Nooks. The Nook doesn't support the .azw filetype, which is a proprietary filetype owned by Amazon.
Fast forward to a few years later, and the Barnes & Noble Nook is Amazon's biggest competition in a still-expanding eReader market. Both devices have greatly increased their range of features, adding bonuses like a web browser and free wi-fi service.
Though the devices remain similar, the Nook offers some interesting bonuses that make it stiff competition for the Kindle. For example, the latest edition of the Nook (known as the Nook Color) offers full color on its screen, while the Kindle is still in black and white.
The Barnes & Noble Nook features double the basic storage capacity of the Kindle DX and Kindle 3 (8GB vs 4GB). The Nook eReader also allows users to expand their storage capacity further, by making their unit compatible with a microSD or microSDHC card (depending on model).
Thanks to updated features and advancing technology, consumers can now get a great deal when buying an eReader. 2011 is bound to be a very good year for book lovers.

- If you are like me, and read a ton of books, how can you get past the whole 'not holding a book' concept? Part of the magic, for me, is turning the page with excitement and anticipation of things to come!

- There are so many new models and brands coming on the market all the time it's hard to keep up with them, or work out which are best to suit your needs over time.
Thumbs up and Like from me, hope your lens does well for you.
