From Sweden: Eric Saade
Saade took part in the 2010 Swedish national selection process, but failed to make the cut on that occasion with the song Manboy.
As well as his solo singing career, he was also a member of a popular Swedish boy band called What's Up!, which had some limited success in its homeland.
In 2011, Eric Saade took on Europe in the hope that his song, one of the frontrunners, would walk away with the Eurovision crown. However, Popular secured third place in the Final, behind the entries from Azerbaijan and Italy.
Since the completion of Eurovision, Saade has been promoting his new single releases, Hearts in the Air and Hotter Than Fire, as well as his latest album Saade Vol. 2.

- Eric Saade is very good looking. He seems so intersting. I want to listen his music. I do not know how does he sing. He is a new singer. I have never heard of his songs. I guess he must singe so well.

- I just heard and watched him in youtube. Man he is great and a total performer indeed. No wonder why he was chosen to sing Popular, the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest entry for Sweden.

- I had not heard of Eric Saade before. Thank you for the introduction. These new stars just keep getting younger. Don't you dare say it is actually me getting older. LOL I am visiting the entertainment neighborhood today on the "back to school" angel bus tour and I am leaving behind my blessings.
