There are many birds on the endangered species list. Do you think we'll loose them or do you think we wised up?

    I heard the last Eskimo Curlew was actually shot in the Caribbean in 1963 in the same area that Machi the whimbrel was shot last year.

    Such a pretty bird! How sad that they are most likely extinct. I would like to believe we are wiser, but I fear that is not the case.

    Very interesting. I didn't know about this variety of curlew. It's a terrible shame that it is no longer with us.

    Hmmm, this bird looks alot like a bird I just looked at the shy bird with the interesting beak/bill.

    Such a sad story. Hopefully we'll take notice and wise up. Pages like this are a great reminder and lesson to our children that we need to pay attention to our actions and how they affect the world around us.
