- I heard the last Eskimo Curlew was actually shot in the Caribbean in 1963 in the same area that Machi the whimbrel was shot last year.

- Such a pretty bird! How sad that they are most likely extinct. I would like to believe we are wiser, but I fear that is not the case.

- Such a sad story. Hopefully we'll take notice and wise up. Pages like this are a great reminder and lesson to our children that we need to pay attention to our actions and how they affect the world around us.
