Commonly Used Essential Oils For Horses

Selecting oils for your horse can be very tricky, as different horses may require different types of oils. In order to check how well a particular essential oil would suit a horse, you need to take a few drops of oil in your palms, rub them and offer it to a horse. Always wait till it decides to accept or refuse it. Never compel the horse to accept it and allow it to take its time to decide. If the horse accepts it, then the oil would suit it otherwise you should try another type of oil. There are many oils that are best used in massage, while some prove to be effective when diffused or taken internally. Essential oils are one of the most popular oils used for horses. They are highly concentrated and take a lot of plant material to make a few drops of oil.
