Aromatherapy Essential Oils
essentialoilindia.com
Essential oils are a concentrated aromatic liquid removed from plants. The "essential" part of the phrase represents the aromatic heart or essence of a plant. For instance, essence of rose is like the rose's trademark - its distinctive and desirable scent. These oils are removed through a distillation process that works to press as much concentrated oil from the object as possible. Essential oils are then used in small, measured quantities in perfumes, candles and incenses, make-up, bath products, household cleaners, flavoring foods and drinks. They can also be used (and have been used throughout history) for homeopathic medicine and aromatherapy. Smell stimuli has to pass the limbic system of the brain in order to be interpreted, and that is why scents are thought to be so important for mood as well as recalling memories from years ago - our sense of smell is one of the strongest sense memory vehicles we have. Whether scents truly have a medicinal property or whether the sense memory inspires a pleasant change in mood, essential oils are a part of our life, enhancing the scent of various items throughout the day, from your bath or shower to baking your cake to lighting a candle to cleaning your house.

Aromatherapy
essentialoilindia.com
Essential Oil India's website, essentialoilindia.com, offers any number of Indian and foreign essential oils and other essences that anyone needs. One of the primary uses of essential oils is for scented products, and with the increase of interest in alternative medicine, there is much more demand for essential oils. Alternative medicinal uses for essential oils includes the scent-based aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is the use of volatile essential oils to improve mood or health. Sometimes it is something has simple as burning a vanilla candle or sandalwood incense, but sometimes even negative smells are used strictly for their aromatherapeutic properties. Aromatherapeutic essential oils can be used in items like candles and incense as well as bath and body products and massage oils.
One way that aromatherapy works is by using the mechanics of scent. In order for the brain to interpret scent stimuli, the stimulus has to pass through limbic system, which is the primary center for memory, behavior, and mood. Theoretically, different scents affect the limbic system differently. This makes sense on a basic level. When you smell oatmeal raisin cookies, you may think of grandmother's freshly baked cookies from years ago, and this could perk you right up, inspiring the same feelings from childhood. Or maybe you smell chalk and think of school even though you are sixty-five years old and have been out of school for decades, which could be a good thing or not, depending on the person. The other way that aromatherapy works is from the natural qualities of the essentials - for instance, eucalyptus leaves have a minty smell that is excellent for clearing the sinuses. Aromatherapy can also be used for physical stimulation - jasmine, lavender, and even pumpkin can inspire sexual feelings. But American companies typically use aromatherapy in commercial products to relax and reduce anxiety as well as to energize. A study at Sloan-Kettering found that aromatherapy used for the purpose of reducing anxiety works on calming claustrophobic patients getting MRIs. Some proponents of aromatherapy even claim that the medicinal benefit of aromatherapy comes not just from the essence (or scent) of the plant from which the essential oils were derived, but also from the very life force of the plant.
Essential Oil India professionals, experts, and workers rigorously test every perfume and fragrance that comes in and out of their doors in order to ensure the highest quality of oils so that whatever essential oils you need come to you with all intrinsic aromatherapeutic and health benefits. Essential Oil India guarantees stringent control checks on any external supplies as well as their own products in order to ensure the purity of those essences. With a global client base, Essential Oil India is prepared to provide the best Indian and other foreign essential and herbal oils.

Aromatherapy Benefits
SMELL THE GOODNESS OF NATURAL OILS AND ENJOY THE BENEFITS THAT GO WITH IT!
Relax a Moment
One of the things that bring people to aromatherapy is the need for relaxation. There are some herbs that are uniquely suited to helping you relax. They can be used in a variety of ways, from baths to massage oils to inhalation therapy. I'll discuss the essential oils used for relaxation first and then discuss how you can use them.
One of the most well known herbal essential oils used for relaxation is lavender. While lavender has a whole host of other uses, it is extremely relaxing. This aromatic herb can be used in baths and in potpourri burners in both its flower form and as an essential oil. All other uses require essential oil.
Chamomile is another herb that is well known to be relaxing and soothing. This herb is most commonly used in tea, but it can be used in its essential oil form for things like baths and lotions. It is very gentle yet very powerful.
Other herbs recommended are rose, which is used for all sorts of things, Valerian, St. John's Wort, Lemon Balm, Lemon Verbena and skullcap. Most of these, except for the rose, should be used in their whole form and ingested, either by making into a tea and drinking or taken in their pill form. However I mention these as they can enhance the use of the other two listed.
To use the essential oils in oil burners, simply pour about a dozen drops into the dish and light the candle. Let it burn for about 30 minutes and then blow out the candle. Anything longer than this could result in the oil burning or ever scenting the space, which can cause headaches and other symptoms that are far from relaxing. You can also put whole lavender flowers into a potpourri burner. Simply fill the burner with flowers, cover with water or oil and turn it on. You can leave this burning longer as it isn't as potent as the essential oil, and when you're done, you can use that oil or water that has been infused with lavender in the bath, simply strain out the flowers.
To use in the bath, there are several options. You can use them in their whole dried form and tie them in a natural cheesecloth bag, or other loosely woven cotton bag. You can tie the bag to the faucet and run hot water into the tub, then simply turn on the cold water to reach the desired temperature. This will make an infusion. You could also do the same thing with water in a pan on the stove, but it's less convenient. You can then use the same bag of herbs as your wash cloth for added benefit. If you want to use oils, mix them with some kind of carrier oil first, such as grapeseed or sweet almond oil. Then simply add to your bath water, you could use this same oil for massage as well, so no need to mix it twice. Just be careful getting out of the tub as it may be slippery.
You can also use the essential oils mixed with carrier oil or lotion for a massage, or for general moisturizing after your bath. Simply add the essential oils to the desired strength and your ready to use.
Another less well known way to use relaxation herbs and essential oils is in a body wrap, but this can be a bit messy. You can mix essential oils with other herbs, Dead Sea salt, and clay. Any clay is fine. Mix it up, smear it on and wrap up. Use plastic wrap as a barrier between the elastic bandages for wrapping to try and keep things less mess. Then simply cover up with a blanket and breathe deeply. The warmth opens the pours, allowing direct absorption, and the other ingredients are cleansing. Use caution when adding the oils. A little goes a long way with this method.

Distillation is a Amazing Process
The results speak for themseleves!
The website essentialoilindia.com offers an amazing array of essential oils to purchase for your companies or scented projects. Part of what goes into essential oils is the process of extracting the essence of plant products, a process that has been passed down and upgraded for centuries.
One of the methods of extracting scents that is mostly used today era is distillation. The raw materials - the flowers, stems, sepals, seeds, wood, bark, leaves etc. - are put into an alembic over water. The alembic is an alchemical still comprise of two retorts (glassware used for distillation). When someone turns up the heat on the water, the steam goes through the raw materials and vaporizes the relevant essences. The vapor then moves into the other part of the alembic and collects and condenses there as liquid. Some of the most popular distillates are rose water, peppermint oil, orange blossom water, and lemon balm, which can be found with many other oils at essentialoilindia.com.
Another way of extracting essential oils from plant materials is cold-pressing. Cold-pressing literally presses the oil out of the raw materials. It used to mean that no heat was used, but modern cold-pressing does use heat to help speed up the process. This process is common with oil-rich plant materials like citrus peels and nuts.
Some flowers are too delicate for distillation or cold-pressing, and therefore the process of extracting the essence must be more sensitive, especially since floral scents are so popular. Instead, solvent extraction is a process that combines the solvents like hexane and supercritical carbon dioxide, which creates what is called concretes - a combination of essential oil, wax, resin, and other oil soluble raw material. Another solvent (ethyl alcohol) is used to extract the essential oil from the concretes. Then the alcohol is removed, leaving only the essential oil, completely pure and extracted from its raw materials.
Essential Oil India strives for excellence, and professionals, experts, and workers rigorously test every perfume and fragrance that comes in and out of their doors in order to ensure the highest quality of essence extraction. They create essential oils themselves and accept materials from external companies. However, Essential Oil India guarantees stringent control checks on all raw materials and the final products in order to ensure purity of those materials. With a global client base, Essential Oil India is prepared to provide the best Indian and other foreign essential oils.

OIL SAFETY
What you need to know!
Essential Oil India's website, essentialoilindia.com, presents to the public any number of essential oils for companies and individual projects. But it is important for anyone working with essential oils to understand the safety measures to take.
Any unadulterated liquid can be harmful if not diluted or treated carefully, with the right protective gear. Therefore, no matter the aromatherapeutic or medicinal effects of an essential oil, it should not be used undiluted on the skin, with very few exceptions, because it can trigger skin sensitivity or a skin allergy. All in all, a little essential oil thoroughly diluted can still be quite effective and full of scent.
Even diluted essential oils can cause sensitivity or allergy in certain people, so it is important to test a small patch of skin for sensitivity or allergy before slathering it all over your body or someone else's. A 24-hour wait is encouraged to check for any reaction. Some essential oils should be avoided when pregnant or if someone has asthma, respiratory problems, or epilepsy. And some essential oils from plants known to be poisonous should only be used by licensed professionals, if at all.
Some companies try to dilute expensive essential oils with synthetic products that people can be allergic to or that are intrinsically irritating or even dangerous, just to cover the bottom line and line their own pockets. This is why Essential Oil India professionals, experts, and workers rigorously test every perfume and fragrance that comes in and out of their doors in order to ensure the highest quality of oils. Essential Oil India guarantees stringent control checks on any external supplies as well as their own products in order to ensure the purity and safety of those essences. - Did you know? Herbal oils contain intrinsic vitamins, biostimulants, antioxidants as well as other nutrients that can strengthen and nourish skin - they have been used in herbal remedies to cure skin conditions, heal surface injuries, and treat head and hair problems, including dandruff and hair loss. You may be familiar with the use of aloe oil on sun burns. Some Native American tribes used saw palmetto oil for hair and skin care. St. John's wort oil relieves inflammation and is good for an first aid kit because it soothes cuts, bruises, and burns. Lemon balm is used in cleaning supplies and other antibacterial products. They can also be used during massages to simultaneously calm the mood and nourish the skin (as well as the obvious use of reducing friction between the massager's hands and the person's skin) - sunflower oil is often used as a massage oil because it helps moisturize and condition dry skin. They can also stimulate the metabolism, encourage or manage healthy mucous, and helps prevent or slow down the physical aging process. One of the oils that Essential Oil India also carries is tea tree oil, from a tree in New South Wales that can help treat minor cuts, skin allergies, fungus, acne, warts, and yeast infections. Essential Oil India has these essential herbal oils and more.
