My own little corner of the web for bringing together ethical links and information regarding the welfare of people, animals and the environment.
This is information that I come across about ethical shopping, green issues, alternative gifts, environmentally sound energy companies, organic stuff ... you get the idea :)
...EVEN ethical internet marketing and business opportunities!!! (Yes, they do exist!)
And by the way, I am not a sandal-wearing hobo but this is just in my nature ... I don't always behave like an 'ethical consumer' but if I can I do - surely that is the spirit of things? *TRY* .... *Do your bit* .... *A little adds up to a lot* etc

A Personal Tale
Seth Godin's blog on why we don't use energy saving lightbulbs was a timely one for me...having just converted half the lights in my house to them :D
So, I can read the blog with a bit of a smug feeling ... but at the same time I know exactly where he is coming from - I didn't get them for years because they were so expensive ... I wanted to, but I couldn't afford the huge payout for ONE lighbulb. I was an eco-conscious student, so I wanted to, but couldn't.
These days though, I have more cash and I got a pack of 5 for the same price ONE would have cost me a few years ago!!!! So I snatched em up and I'm sitting under them right now ;)
BONUS: I won't have to drag the ladders out to change a lightbulb for at least another 5 years :D
