Whenever people hear the word hacking or hacker they automatically think that it is related to something bad. Hackers are people that can end up getting into your system and taking all of your information. However, an ethical hacker is going to be able to prevent this from happening. You will find that an ethical hacker is going to find ways for you to be protected from these hackers that are out there to ruin your business and take your data and other information.

A lot of hackers went to school and have education in computer science and are able to know their way around a computer. They will then use this information to get into the system of companies and people so that they can steal their data and get all of their information. This can end up being something that they can use to get the money of the business or the person. These people will also create viruses that can end up ruining your computer and causing you to lose all of the information that you had in the system. You will need to make sure that you are protected from these particular hackers.

A certified ethical hacker is a person that is going to be able to protect you from the previously mentioned people. They know the same things and have went to school to learn exactly what it is that they are doing. They will be able to play defense to the bad guys basically. They will hack into the systems of companies and websites and find out where their weak spots are. As they do this, they will be able to show them where they are the most vulnerable and help them to toughen up the security and the protection that they have based on what they know and what they have learned on what their issues are. By being able to stay one step ahead of the other hackers, ethical hackers will be able to keep companies and data safe.

Basically, there are 2 types of hats when it comes to hackers. There are the white hats and the black hats. The black hats are the hackers that are out there to steal the information and end up causing you to lose data and get viruses. The white hats are out there to stop the black hats from being able to do this.

A black hat is going to need to be able to get into the system so that they can mess things up so to speak and take what they want and ruin everything else. A white hat's job is to be able to prevent any black hats from getting into the system. A certified ethical hacker is still a hacker because they will be using their knowledge of computers to get into the systems of companies and businesses. The main difference is that once they are there they do not do anything to ruin or hurt the business. They will take notes and figure out where the system has the most amount of weak spots. From there, they will toughen up the system's security so that the black hats will not be able to get in and do any damage.

The more protection that a white hat can provide to the companies and the businesses, the better chance that they will have against the black hats, it is important that the white hats are able to always stay one step ahead from the black hats.

Because ethical hacking is still basically hacking it is important that the good guys and the bad guys have names so that people will know who they can trust. The white hats are the ones that you turn to when the black hats have attempted to hack you.
