Every order placed at Skreened gets shipped out in 100% biodegradable plastic shipping bags. These bags decompose in a period of 75 days, breaking down into a non-toxic, harmless vapor and dust. This means that they are compostable so they can actually be used to nourish your garden or flower beds, if you have any. Even if you don't and you must throw them out, you can feel good in the knowledge that these plastic bags will not be spending much time in our landfills. If they work as advertised, in 75 days the bags desintegrate without harmful emissions. SUBJECTS: I normally design family-friendly subjects based on sports, environment, logos, cartoon characters, text, symbolism, humour, puns, slogans, mottos, whimsical etc. Occasionally I design subjects containing innuendo and geared toward adults.

STYLE:bold, retro, simple and clean, minimal details, ranging from b/w to monochromatic to full colour created using vector-based software

DEMOGRAHIC: Most of my designs cater to the male population but I also have several unisex designs and also a few that are well suited for kids and babies.

AVAILABLE STYLES and COLOURS: Because Skreened does not yet offer black t-shirts, I have made most of my designs monochromatic (mostly black) that show up well on all the colours offered by the website. I try to make designs available on all styles and colours, however there are times when I limit certain designs to specific styles and colours. For example, I might limit environmental designs to organic shirts and to natural or green colours.

The first thing that drew me to Skreened is the big picture. I am talking about the large print area that they feature on both the front and back of their t-shirts. Unlike some of the other more well-known PODs on the web, Skreened doesn't suffocate your creative side in a confining square boundary. It sees "The Big Picture". Skreened gets it. They understand that artistic expression is important to us designers and also to the customers who are looking for unique and bold t-shirts. Designing t-shirts and tote bags at Skreened is a liberating experience that allows the t-shirt to become the canvas that all t-shirt artists dream about.

The design above is just one example from my Skreened store. Notice how it makes good use of the entire t-shirt's front? To put this same design on a t-shirt at one of the other PODs, I would have to shrink it down considerably, rendering it almost unreadable except to those standing a couple of feet away. Here the design is allowed to flow across the entire front including the tombstone and zombie's hand down near the hemline. It makes the difference between an ok t-shirt and an awesome t-shirt.
