Imagine eBay, if everything had to be either handmade, actual vintage, or supplies to be listed.
Then imagine that, rather than a short-lived auction, you could list a set price item for four months for a 20 cents, and when it sells, there was only a 3.5% fee owed.
Also imagine that you could put out a request for someone to make an item just for you, or search for people needing your creative skills who are willing to pay for them.
That's Etsy. And I'm pretty excited about it.
