Computer networks are nowadays an integral part of our information society. Euroglot has, of course, followed these developments: the network versions of Euroglot make it possible for more employees of a company or institution to simultaneously use all translation facilities offered by Euroglot.

Euroglot Professional for company networks:

The network version is for simultaneous (concurrent) use. The software contains a counter system that registers the number of users simultaneously logged in at a certain moment. If the maximum number of licenses is exceeded, the user in question will get a message. Two access codes in the program determine the number of users and languages for which the license is valid. In case of an upgrade to more users you can contact your dealer: entering the two new codes suffices to activate this extension. This version is installed on the network's fileserver.

This version of Euroglot has specifically been developed for application in your Intranet.

With the Intraglot version, Linguistic Systems is the first in Europe to bring a translation package that follows the latest developments within company networks. Employees often work at an external location, are on the road, or work at home. Euroglot Intranet enables you and your colleagues to consult Euroglot with your personal browser. What is more, this version has an interface which is especially adapted to use on the web. The Euroglot Intranet standard version contains the languages Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, so all users are able to make full use of Euroglot.
This version of Euroglot is installed on the web server of your Intranet. Because Euroglot Intranet works in concert with a web server, it is possible to publish other (company) information via this web server besides the Euroglot dictionaries.

Euroglot Intranet has the following qualities:

* Every person who has access to your web server can use Euroglot, this includes the employees working at an external location.
* Euroglot Intranet operates on a TCP-IP protocol-based network; on the client's side Euroglot Intranet is completely platform-independent. So it makes no difference whether the users work with Windows, Mac, Linux or Unix.
* No use is made of scripts, applets, flash animations or other browser extensions. Euroglot Intranet works on every common browser.
* Installation and control is easy: you have to install the version on the server only once. During the installation, the registration data is entered once-only. For the rest, the registration system operates completely autonomously.

At the moment, Euroglot Intranet works in concert with the following web servers:

The most popular webserver on the internet, also available for Windows systems.
* Microsoft Internet Information Server.

* The Lotus Domino Release 5 web server. This release is the most recent version of Lotus and contains support for web applications based on Internet standards.
* Xitami Webserver.
This web server works on Windows NT and Windows 95/98 and is a good alternative for the other web servers.
