Unique Party Invitations

You can't have much of an event if you don't let people know about it. You don't however want to go the boring, old route of sending out handwritten invitations that you don't even know if or when they will arrive and people may even just throw away without paying much attention to. You want something unique and special that will capture people's attention and get them talking - and so enter Web 2.0.

Web 2.0 makes it easy (and free) for you to create your own web page announcing your event and then all you need to do is send emails to your guest list telling them where to find this page and reply.

Your web page can be as unique as you like with over 60 multimedia applications available to help you create your masterpiece. Add phoros, video, music and much more. Have a countdown to the event on the page. Create a poll for people to give you ideas on location, catering, entertainment, games and more.

Web-Based Event Management

Now for handling those other items on your event planning checklist. As we have mentioned - the poll feature helps you to get ideas on location, catering, entertainment or any other things where you have a choice. You can also ask a question and get people to reply via the comment wall for more flexibility.

As for assigning tasks, the task manager is exactly what you need. This allows you to delegate tasks to everyone who has offered (or been compelled) to assist in the organization of the event. This makes life a whole lot easier for you.

The first item on your checklist was to manage your budget and this is actually a constant process throughout all your other items but it can be easily managed using the budget manager. Write down all those things you are going to need to spend money on and how much you are able to spend on them - and then challenge yourself to beat that budget.

Events Listed makes your event planning checklist a breeze to get through and will make the event more exciting for your guests as well. So go ahead and sign up for your free account today and get started preparing your roofraiser event.

Well, I have to say: Wowzers! THIS has been one of the most informative, helpful lenses I have EVER had the pleasure of reading here. We ALL give events of some sort, on some level -- from fundraisers for our favorite Girl Scout Club (they're still around, aren't they?) to family reunions to stadium-sized blowouts, and from what I've seen EventsListed is THE tool to use to minimize headaches, make certain the important as well as the would-be-nice things are each given the attention needed. I'm eager to test it out on a function my Aunt has given every June for the last 23 years! Let's see if Simon Ford's EventsListed helps me to pump up the volume on her event. Personally, I'm extremely optimistic and am looking forward to testing this puppy out! Thanks Simon! Thanks Miss Abigale! Functional information ROCKS!

    In the meantime,
Peace and Love to you, yours, and everything you collectively care about,
    DeeJay
