My Experience With EverBank So Far...
I recently opened up an account at EverBank, so I figured I'd post a quick review of my experience so far. The obvious thing that draws people to EverBank is the high yield, but there are a few other reasons you might want to consider using them.

EverBank Reviews: How I Became A Customer Of EverBank
I switched to EverBank by default in August 2010, since the bank I was with (Bank of Florida) was acquired by EverBank. So technically I joined by default b/c I can't say I had much of a choice in the matter. The switching over process was a bit stressful because it took me a few days to get used to their online banking site. I used their customer service twice to ask a few questions about online banking and both times met someone very helpful and friendly. Good start.
Here are 4 of the positive aspects about having an account with EverBank:
1) The high yield Money Market account offers an unbeatable rate. It can really add up after a while. The rates do change, however so click here to check out the current rates on offer.
2) EverBank refunds your ATM fees (unfortunately, they only do this if you hold over $5,000 in your account).
3) EverBank is FDIC insured, meaning your money is safe if the EverBank goes insolvent (good news after 2008).
4) There are no monthly or annual account fees (once again, this is only if you keep $5,000 or more in your account).
And...it wouldn't be a real company if there weren't 3 negative aspects of EverBank:
1) Their online banking isn't as user fiendly as it could be.
2) They charge fees if you have a small account (under $5,000) - see their fee schedule here.
3) Deposits can sometimes be slow to be approved.
In conclusion, I'd say EverBank is a great option if you have an established savings fund and would like to see it grow faster than it currently is. The rates are too good to pass up. For people who don't have $5,000 in their savings yet, I'd go ahead and say it's not going to be the best bank for you to use...
