The Everly Brothers in a nutshell...
The Everly Brothers (Don Everly, born Isaac Donald Everly February 1, 1937, Brownie, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, Phil Everly, born Phillip Everly, January 19, 1939, Chicago, Illinois) are brothers and country-influenced rock and roll performers, known for steel-string guitar playing and close harmony singing. The Everlys are the most successful U.S. rock and roll duo on the Hot 100. Their greatest period came between 1957 and 1964.

Am I wrong?
I don't know about you, but when I first heard The Beatles harmonize, my very first thoughts were of Phil and Don. I don't believe anyone was a greater influence on their early vocal arrangements.

- Darn, I was going to do a virtual concert on the Everly Brothers, but this one is too good! Certainly 5*!
I have been a fan since I was a little girl, but finally got to see them in person when, during one of there several make-ups between breakups, they did a small concert on a pier on the Hudson River! It was a beautiful night and the crowd was wonderful.
I couldn't help notice though, that while most of the men in the crowd had thinning hair, Don and Phil still had the trademark manes! Don't tell me if they weren't real. Other men can be sexy and bald, but I count on my two childhood crushes to have lots of hair!
