Brief Overview Of Evernote Software
Evernote is an intuitive program that allows its users to capture information from many interfaces. It's incredibly versatile and you can record all sorts of things from internet hyperlinks, images from phones, web videos and a myriad of multi-media.However, unlike other pieces of software, Evernote will automatically meta-tag your data with time, date and even geographical location. Undoubtedly, you yourself can organize information using a series of folders, categories and image tags. Digital content acquired through the Net or an application such as Microsoft Word can easily be accessed. And since Evernote is web-based, all your stuff is quickly synchronized. But perhaps the most useful function of Evernote is its capability to recognize text.
Let's say you took an image of a business card.
We'll assume that the card has the following information

DrCool@CoolGames.ca
When you upload the image into the software, Evernote automatically recognizes any text embedded in the photograph. If you were to type " CoolGamesWorld.com " all IMAGES containing that term would instantly be filtered through and the words " CoolGamesWorld.com " would be highlighted. The feature is rather neat and there is much potential in it. You could take photograph notes during a seminar, take images of advertisements or even record information off your stamp collection.
Plus, Evernote is A.N.R. (Advanced Note Recognition) Ready, meaning that any handwritten notes you scribble off a Tablet PC, a PDA, or even a restaurant napkin can be adequately processed by the program in question. And whenever you make a note, Evernote can automatically categorize your stuff based on content type, length etc. Even hand drawn ditties can be "smoothed out" and refined with this software.
Evernote is a FREE subscription. You of course can pay more for even cooler features.
