One of the most successful clubs in English football history, Everton FC are one of the 12 founding members of the Football League.

Having spent only 4 years outside the top flight they are the first, and only, club to play 100 seasons in the highest division.

With a motto of Nil Satis Nisi Optimum the Toffees play in Royal Blue at Goodison Park, in the city of Liverpool, on Merseyside.
