Quick Tricks for Jell-O Desserts
Ways to Dress to Impress
The easiest way to dress up Jell-O is to treat it like a sheet cake. Fill a rectangular casserole dish the Jell-O and follow the directions to harden. Cover it with a whipped topping and then decorate. For example, you could use strawberries and blueberries to recreat the American flag, or use gel icing to write someone's name, and so on.A fun way to make single serving Jell-O desserts is to fill cupcake tins (use liners and non-stick spray) instead of a dish or bowl. Then "frost" each Jell-O "cupcake" with whipped topping, fruit, et cetera.
Of course, you can always fill a mold (it doesn't have to be specifically made for Jell-O) with Jell-O and add your favorite fruit in bite-size pieces
