With the rise of the Internet to the present level of importance, and the continued rise in the future, English is being established as the most important language in history. Coupled with the Internet, English is increasing in use and importance daily. Well over a billion people converse in English. Most Internet activity is conducted in English. English is the language of air traffic controllers around the world. All progressive business people understant that English is the language of commerce. Most everyone who wishes to learn a second language will pick English if it is not their native tongue.

English is the official language in 53 countries, the United Nations, NATO, European Union and many other international organizations. It has become the global dominant language and is used to for communications, commerce, science, entertainment and other avenues of international connections. It is simply the most important langage now used. Every country that does not employ English as their official language should do so and educate their children in it.
