Everything about Sophie Kinsella!

Her first Novel as Sophie Kinsella was written in the year 2000, her first installment of the ever popular Shopaholic series, Confessions of a Shopaholic. She has written many popular novels such as "The Undomestic Goddess" , "Can you keep a Secret" , "Remember Me" , "Twenties Girl" , and the ever-popular Shopaholic Series: Confessions of a Shopaholic, Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, Shopaholic Ties the Knot, Shopaholic and Sister and the newest one that just came out this past month, the fifth book of the Shopaholic series: Shopaholic and Baby!

The Shopaholic series is my favourite! They tell the story about Becky Bloomwood, a young woman who is shopping-obsessed! She loves shopping more than anything but doesn't realize the credit card debt that she can fall into. Read as she tries to convince banks and department stores that her dog was sick, and many other excuses like this to get out of paying her debt. We read as she learns many life lessons and how she attempts to fix all the mistakes she has done. Becky Bloomwood is truly a heroine. I would recommend these novels to anyone!

In 2009, Confessions of a Shopaholic was released as a movie. In the movie, the main character lives in New York, while in the books she lives in London. It gives a great change to the story. The main character, Becky Bloomwood, is played by actress Isla Fisher. Isla is a dream as Becky Bloomwood, she plays her so well! Other actors in the movie are: Hugh Dancy, Krysten Ritter & Joan Cusack. This movie, directed by Jerry Bruckheimer, protrays the book really well and I can't wait for part 2!
