Marilyn Monroe, (American Actress, Singer, & Model) was born on June 1, 1926 as Norma Jean Baker. Marilyn spent most of childhood years going from one foster home to another. She started out as a young model which led her to a film contract in 1946. Marilyn was known for her "dumb blonde" persona in which her viewers found to be humorous. Marilyn went on to start her own Production company which produced Box Office Success. She was nominated on many different occasions and received a Golden Globe award & the David di Donatello Award.
Marilyn Monroe's later years were filled with much sadness as she seemed to be very troubled and difficult to get along with. She suffered from drug use and severe illnesses. Marilyn Monroe was deceased in August 1962 but she is still recognized for her accomplishments and affect on Society and the Fashion World. A fashion line was started in her name after her death which has had much success. The Public hasn't stopped buzzing about her since.
