Have you ever thought about the influence of modern technologies on children and teenagers? I hope yes. To my mind they really destroy children's minds and perception of the world. It seems as if they live in another reality.

Today's children play with mobile phones and instead of listening to their beloved fairy tale before they fall asleep they watch cartoons or play computer games.

I have a teenager sister. Frankly speaking there is hardly anything that I or our parents can do about her. We can not influence her and persuade her that instead of sitting in front of a TV set and watching Interactive TV she'd better go outdoors with her friends or read an exciting book.

My sister spends all days and nights on the Internet. There she communicates with her friends online, watches various videos, downloads new films, discusses different topics on forums and looks through all new trends in vogue, technologies and so on. Not long ago while looking through one of such sites she found a link to a site with Egyptian tattoos. She had been dreaming about a tattoo for several years and on this site she found one that impressed her so strong that she finally decided to make a tattoo. Oh! Our mother was shocked when my sister returned home. It was a great row because my sister didn't consult any member of our family and didn't come for a piece of advice. For my mother it was a difficult day. But later she got used to sister's tattoo.

I personally think that children and teenagers have to be occupied with something for instance to go in for sport, attend dancing clubs or different groups like drawing circle or literary societies. In such a way they will have less time on various trifles like computer games and forums on the Internet.
