Release is Slated for March 26th, 2013

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct

The Walking Dead First-Person Shooter published by Activision and developed by Terminal Reality, is one of the most highly anticipated video games coming out this year. Based on the show The Walking Dead, the game takes place prior to the events of season 1. Activision has annouced that the game will be called "The Walking Dead:Survival Instinct"

You play as the fan favorite Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and are accompanied by your brother Merle (Michael Rooker) as you make your way through hordes of Walkers on your way to Atlanta. The game promises to stay true to The Walking Dead that we all know and love while at the same time adding new depth to characters we are already familiar with.

According to activision the Walkers in 2013's The Walking Dead:Survival Instinct video game will hunt you using sight, smell and sound. So I would think that there would be some kind of stealth element to the game. Players will also be forced to manage a limited amount of supplies while on their journey which should add some interesting aspects to the overall game.

Activision has also stated that there will be a certain amount of player choice which will effect the outcome of The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct video game. They've stated that the game will require you to evaluate your situation and assess each threat accordingly if you hope to survive.
