If you are a parent then I can almost guarantee at one time or another you have had questions about raising your child. Maybe it was a question about an illness or a discipline problem. If you always thought it would be great to have a place to look for answers to these questions then look no further then your computer.

There are several great websites devoted to parenting information. You can find answers to questions about children's illnesses or schooling issues you just have to know where to look .I will show you some great sites that will help you find information on your parenting questions.
What Not to Do when You Don't Approve of Your Child's Boyfriend or Girlfriend
All parents dread the day when your son or daughter comes home with a new love interest. There will be many relationships that you know will not work out. And while you might be tempted to share your opinion with your child I would suggest you didn't. One point I can't stress enough is to never tell your child you disapprove of their boyfriend or girlfriend. This will only make them that much more attracted to them. If they ask your opinion you can say that the girl or boy isn't the person you would have chosen for them but it's their life and they have to figure that out for themselves.

What is Dusting? When you hear the term Dusting you might think of a can of pledge and some old rags you use to clean your coffee table with, well to many teenagers Dusting has a whole new meaning. It means a cheap way to get a quick high. They do this with a can of air used to clean computers and electronic equipment. They came up with the name Dusting from the brand of canned air Dust Off. Inhalant abuse often referred to as "Huffing" has been around for many years. The difference with Dusting is anyone can buy the canned air they don't have to be a certain age, and no one asks any questions as to why they are buying the canned air product.
Mail Reshipping Scams
With all the scams and fake emails that go around everyday its getting harder and harder to tell which ones are actually legitimate. These scams cost people millions of dollars a year. They are easy to do by having a link in the email with a well known Website or organization that leads you to the scammers Website. They have set up their sites to look exactly like the original site would. They might ask for your credit card number or your social security number and say they need it to verify your account. To someone who is not all that familiar with these types of scams they might to lured into giving the important information. Scammers also use instant messaging services such as yahoo messenger and AIM to contact people and start up a conversation. They usually look for single men or women. They will try to convince them they are interested in a relationship and chat back and forth a few times before trying whatever type of scam it is they are running.
Germs in the Car
These days lots of people are pretty much living out of their car. They use it for a dressing room, dining room and of course an office .I bet they never stopped to think about all the harmful germs that could be living along with them. A car is the perfect place for germs to breed, especially if it's left sitting in the hot sun for a few hours. Take a look at your car, if you have kids I can almost guarantee they eat in the back seat ,and maybe even drop or spill their food. Now you might pick up the food and clean up the spills, but are there still crumbs left that you meant to vacuum when you had the time. Just the time never came and now the crumbs have turned into harmful germs.
Ways to Cope with Stress
Stress is a part of everyone's daily life. Maybe it is stress caused from your job, or an argument with a spouse or family member. Whatever the case stress can cause harm to you both physically and emotionally. Being stressed out all the time takes a terrible toll on a person's body. Stress puts them at risk for several health problems such as high blood pressure, heart disease, headaches, stomach problems and many others. Stress can lead to problems with eating and sleeping . Many people lie awake at night worrying about issues they have to deal with the next day or how they are going to get the bills paid on time this month. People often don't have a way to cope with their stress so they take out their frustration on others ,or their job performance starts to decline. Maybe their relationship is falling apart all because they don't know how to deal with the stress that is occurring in their lives. Here are a few tips to help you deal with stress.

In today's world we deal with addictions on a daily basis. Sometimes we might not even realize how addicted we are to something. Whether it be the pot of coffee that we drink on a daily basis or the cell phone that is always with-in arms reach. Think about your life and the things you could not live without. These are addictions. Some people think that addictions are only things that are bad for us like drugs ,alcohol, gambling ,or one of the many others. This is a misconception, addictions can be anything you find yourself having to have.
Disciplining Your Child: To Spank or Not to Spank
There will always be debates over how to discipline children. Some will swear by spanking,while others have success with time-outs. When we were young we were spanked if we acted out of line. The fear of being spanked kept us well behaved for the most part. Spanking was an effective punishment for my parents to use with us. Experts are now saying that spanking does not work .They insist spanking causes long term issues with the child ,and teaches them violence is the way to handle things. Do you spank your child if they misbehave? Do you think spanking has long term effects on the child?
