Fascinating coverage on an unusual topic that most people have thought about at some time.

haha! thats NOT a bad joke:) this is a bit off topic but i have found it very useful to provide 'simulated' nde for friends of mine who are depressed. theres nothing quite like thinking youre going to die to make you want to live again.

A man after my own heart! The world has become too namby-pamby and a simulated NDE never hurt anyone - much (ho-ho).

I love everything about paranormal stuff. I do believe in the after life. This is a great lens.

This is a very interesting and thoughtful lens. I really enjoyed your commentary on this topic. What fascinates me about knowledge in general is, as David Freeman said "The more you know, the more you realise how much you don’t know — the less you know, the more you think you know."

Yup - can't miss that speeding train comin' at ya! However, the NDEs provide an interesting follow-up question, don't you think?

thx for a great lens... I think NDE science gets at the most fundamental questions we can ask... who are we? why are we here?

Perhaps science will need to die in order to discover what happens after death ;) Perhaps ask a Self-Realized mystic- they can tell you exactly what happens at death. Dr David R Hawkins has done a great deal of consciousness research in the area, I'd suggest his books. GREAT topic that can expand exponentially from linear science to the nonlinear of consciousness itself.

You may have missed the talk bubble but that is what I have done, with a large section on my analysis of the NDEs from a Religious, rather than Scientific perspective, then a section on Ghosts & Evil Spirits and another on Reincarnation.

Interesting topic. I have no an answer.
  • the777group Dec 10, 2010 @ 10:59 pm | delete
And that is always wiser than having an answer without having done much deliberation already! Have a look at the NDE videos, though, they really are very interesting!
