Evil Squidoo Monsters

As you can tell from the picture I am a work at home mom, I don't make a full time pay, but I work, I get paid some, I am a work at home mom. Now that we have that out of the way...

...A few days ago I was poking around in my dashboard and noticed something in my lens list that didn't belong. At first I saw a purple foot, then another, then another. Startled, I smacked one of those feet with a frying pan and my egg went flying through the air and landed on my baby's head. I clobbered another foot with a hot iron I was putting up, and then I tried to call 911, but a monster hopped out from behind my lens holding two of his big purple feet. He sneered at me and peered through me with all of those beady eyes, then he took my phone.

I got pretty angry with him poking around in my lenses and snatching my phone, so demanded to know who he was and why he was there. He didn't want to tell me at first, but I threatened to hit him in the foot again and he caved. He began telling me about the Evil Squidoo Monsters that went around doing bad things like messing up lensrank and eating visitors so that the good Squidoo Monsters would get in trouble.

I asked him why they did that and he told me that one of the good monsters had kicked a few of his fellow monsters out of The Monster Club because they had gotten a little excited and gave out too many points when Squidoo Plus first came out. I told him I'd noticed a change in points and I could see the sadness in his eyes, but only for a moment. He then got a big grin on his face and informed me that they liked being the Evil Squidoo Monsters better because they had more fun messing things up.

I asked him how many Evil Squidoo Monsters there were, but he wouldn't tell me. He did give me some hints on where to find other Evil Squidoo Monsters, so I decided to search high and low till I found all of them.

Well Lenny is the monster responsible for all of our Lensrank woes. When Lensrank doesn't update, it's Lenny that threw a monkey wrench in it. Lensrank drop? Lenny must have raised his arm and scared that pretty little lens with the stench. Ain't that the pits? (pun intended, hopefully achieved ) Lenny sure does love to mess with Squidoo Lensrank. Has he messed with yours lately?

Victor is probably my least favorite of the Evil Monsters. He loves to eat visitors. Big, small, young, old, he thinks all visitors are yummy. If you've noticed your visitor count getting lower and lower then Victor may be the reason. Let's just hope Victor gets a tummy ache soon!

If you've ever tried to work on a lens when Squidoo gets it's tentacles in a twist then you've experienced Sandy's handywork. She loves to mess with Squidoo's servers with those tentacles of hers. Luckily HQ can get all those tentacles untangled pretty quick most of the time.

Patrick The Payment Bug Monster doesn't mess with us too often, but when he does it's a doozie! He bides his time waiting and planning and then he strikes when the time is right. He sure does like to roll around in all our money when he gets the chance. Sometimes he stabs our money with his horns, so if you ever get a dollar with a tear or a hole in it then you know what happened.

Walter The Writers Block Monster pops his head up from time to time. (ok, temporary writer's block....waiting...waiting...ok, I can remember my train of thought now.) We all hate when Walter starts playing his tricks on us, but it thrills him to no end to stop us from writing our lenses.
