uVme: eVolution of the Internet

There's a new site called uVme.  It's pretty interesting because it combines the power of social marketing, online gaming, and eCommerce.

I signed up on July 13th because the concept seemed really powerful in light of some of the new online marketing and traffic generation techniques I've spent learning over the past few months.

On July 16th, eVolution day occurred and the new uVme site pre-launch site was revealed. The thing that caught my attention about "u Versus me" was that it has a solution to not being able to gamble online.  About a year ago I wanted to do a online gambling site, but that got squashed because the government outlawed that sort of thing.  Well, evo is basically taking skill based games (which falls outside of gambling) and letting people pay into a pot and compete against each other (there's a lot more detail about this in the report they include in the members area).  So yeah, I don't know about you... but people were making tons of money with the whole gambling thing.  I believe this solution is going to pay off huge.  Right now the market generates about $162 every second.  In the next few years, projections shoot for $412 every second. 

Time for a numbers game!

24 hours * 60 minutes = 1440 minutes in a day
1440 minutes * 60 seconds = 86,400 seconds in a day
86,400 seconds * 365 days = 31,536,000 seconds in a year
$0.50 per sec * 31,536,000 seconds in a year = $15,768,000 per year

So $15,768,000 if you can generate $0.50 per second out of the possible $162 per second currently available.  That's 0.31% of the current market potential.  Not bad in my opinion.
