The Sheriff family is now located in the Middle East and we are very much enjoying our new life in Dubai :)

By the way, the correct spelling of my surname is Sherriff but I created this page so everyone can find me as there appears to be great confusion about this!

Why is Ewan Sheriff in Dubai ?

In summary, Kirstin and I had long wanted to move abroad and started exploring the opportunities in late 2008. We finally got our wish and the sheriff family moved out to Dubai in early 2010.

The rational for our move was pretty clear really; It is our belief that our children will have a far better environment in which to develop in Dubai. Schooling is strong and multi cultural giving them the opportunities to meet new people from all different areas of the world. The opportunities they are exposed to now will provide a fantastic upbringing and solid grounding for many years to come.

From a business point of view.. I personally feel that opportunities exist in the Middle East which have dissapeared from the UK since the great recession has turned many sectors stagnant.
