This can only happen when it is brought into people's awareness."The Meadow" has taken two and a half years to write and the authors do not intend for it to take that long to gain momentum as it reaches public scrutiny.

The Feathers -- the magic behind "The Meadow"
A novel waiting to take off
Another two excerpts from "The Meadow"
The first is about the second life born as two Native Americans - Teuch is born as Chaska and Anacaona is born as Tiva, together again yet still apart
. . . . "As they entered the village, Chaska knew that she was there. Children ran over to wave and stare at the impressive party of Sioux representatives slowly entering their perimeters. Amongst the curious children a young boy separated from the group and, walking towards the approaching party, he fixed his gaze on the tall man riding the white horse. Chaska reigned in Nwaptoah and lifted his lance in greeting at the child whose eyes had strayed to the ceremonial weapon as it rose in the air. Then the boy abruptly turned and ran to the tepee where his mother was. Chaska sat very still on his horse; all eyes were on him waiting for the signal to proceed. But he was not quite ready yet. The boy was hers, of that he was sure. The eyes were the same.Tiva stepped from her tepee to appease her son's excitement. She was accustomed to visitors but it was her husband, Akecheta's responsibility to meet strangers. At his discretion they were invited to the inner circle and only then did she prepare a peace meal and offer them a small cup of beer brewed from wild fruit.
Shielding her eyes from the blinding hot sun, she fixed her gaze on the commotion of milling children surrounding the man on the white horse. Then her heart stopped as she recognised a single, grey-feathered lance in his right hand. Chaska! Could it be? After all this time? . . . ."

THIS SECOND EXCERPT COVERS THE THIRD LIVES OF OUR TWO ROOT PERSONALITIES AS THEY FIND THEMSELVES IN TWELFTH CENTURY AFRICA. TEUCH INCARNATES AS SEKAYI AND ANACAONA IS BORN AS HIS ONLY DAUGHTER.
. . . ."With Bahar long gone, Sekayi stood in the opening of the tent and his stomach lurched violently. He was beyond making a sound, beyond physical movement as his mind tried to make sense of her still, naked body. Then his muscles moved involuntarily and he crept closer to his dead child and froze in confused agony as he stood over her and saw the feathers in the palm of her limp hand. Sekayi's mind went blank and incredible emotion rushed through his heart threatening to destroy it, but he reached blindly, angrily for understanding as he looked upon her peaceful face.
Then he picked up the feathers and brought them slowly to his lips, tears streaming down his face. A door into the past opened fleetingly at just a crack and what he glimpsed dropped him instantly to his knees. "Anacaona?" the hoarse whisper spilled brokenly from his trembling lips, while his bewildered heart panicked and strained desperately under the immensity of the unbearable, baffling realization of her true identity. Sekayi's tortured mind reeled dangerously out of control and swayed mercifully towards insanity but he held on agonizingly, and fought his way back with every ounce of strength he had left. "Nyasha, Nyasha, my sweet little one, how could I not have known%u2026?" There was no end to his despair and Sekayi wept uncontrollably as he held her lifeless body to his aching heart.
Every step of the journey back to the compound was pure torture as Sekayi walked beside Zuka, who limped painfully from his own injuries. At first Sekayi carried her in his arms but her dead weight became too much even for his strong body and he finally draped her over his shoulders still walking beside Zuka, holding onto him lightly as they made their way home. It was a solemn, mechanical walk and for the first time in his life here on the banks of the river Kariba, Sekayi lost his focus and concentration as he gave himself over to the grief of a loss too enormous to contemplate. His mind thrashed about wildly, trying to grasp all the pieces that didn't yet fit. He had brought the feathers with him but couldn't bear to think of them. He moved forward taking every step in a void of pain and guilt, trying to understand how this day could have turned out differently, but there was only darkness . . . ."
Native Americans play a large part in "The Meadow"
There is another great character who is a separate soul to our two protagonists
Meet Sakhota. He is a young brave who befriends the reincarnated Anacaona. She is not what you expect and the relationship between the two is of a great and special friendship.Nothing is greater than the love that she holds for her twin flame who again is not what can be expected in this riveting chapter.
It is in this particular part of the storyline that the interconnectedness of all things begins to become apparent.
As you read through this amazing story you will find yourself immersing into a different world -- a different dimension.
From wildest Africa
Staying with the theme from the third chapter of "The Meadow"
"The Meadow" is a passionate story about love and sacrifice. Two souls are born into the world in a time before recorded history. They are to be examples to the world as they demonstrate the interconnectedness of all things. As a consequence they prove that life is eternal.
By the time that they reach the Africa life, they are two well rounded souls, evolving proportionate to the polarities that they experience.
They face hardship and struggle to protect themselves against those who would do them harm. However, there is nothing in the Universe that can dampen their spirit.
Their love for each other in this chapter appears to be that between father and daughter. However, deep down there is an energy which carries the essence of who they really are and only physical separation can change this.
Witness what happens to them as you read this tale about life and what connects it to all that exists.

The Meadow novel
A story of undying love over thousands of years through many different lives

A novel written with a message for the modern world. It's time to start realizing that there is more to life than what our five physical senses relay to us. Release your conditioned mind and understand that life is eternal, whether it be in the mind, the soul or the body. Life goes on regardless, and we follow it every step of the way.

Watch out for my personal avatar
The Phoenix rising from the ashes combined with an outline of a female's head
In 1986 I was under a great deal of stress. My mother was dying of cancer and I was undergoing horrendous business relationships with my equal partner.
My mother died, coinciding with my decision to go it alone and break the partnership and form a new business.
I commemorated this by designing this emblem/logo in memory of my late mother and in recognition of a new start in business.
It has remained with me ever since and has accompanied many articles that I have written, as well as being the company logo that accompanied all business administration.

A little girl picking up a baby sparrow
"Sparrow in my hand" is the personal Avatar of my writing partner, Elfreda.Drawn by her son, it commemorates a turning point in her life when that same son, at the age of seven, overcame life threatening injuries sustained in an accident.
This is his vision of his mother as a little girl, wondering how to save a baby sparrow that fell from its nest - the same way she wondered how to help him survive all those years ago.
"Sparrow in my hand" is the book of his healing they intend to write in the near future.
