Upper back pain as a result of not having good posture and poor spine alignment is very common in today's society.
Exercises for upper back and good posture are the key to preventing and changing your spine alignment condition. I personally struggled with an upper back postural condition known as Kyphosis. Some of you may be more familiar with the term Hunchback.
This condition can often be associated with the elderly because they sometimes represent some of the most severe cases. This condition if left untreated will often result in excruciating pain that most would consider unbearable.

Why Do I Need Exercises For Upper Back And Good Posture?
It may surprise most of you to know that sitting is actually an unnatural position for spine alignment as it relates to back posture. In today's society, we tend to spend more time sitting than we are standing on our feet. For a lot of us this may be present as a result of our job where we may be spending hours each day behind a desk.It may be surprising to know that most of us will have to consciously work on our posture at our workstation. This is because very few will have the proper posture to support their back structure.
Think about this for a second, very few will have the proper posture to support their back structure. This means that most of these individuals will spend hours each day with their spine in an unnatural position. Overtime the body will adjust to this unnatural position with changes that take place at a cellular level.
Initially there will be some discomfort, and as more time passes the pain often gets worse. Muscles are changing to accommodate the unnatural posture position. Some muscles will lengthen and others will shorten. As the condition worsens pain becomes increasingly evident. Muscle spasms may become a problem for some, as the muscles trying to support the unnatural posture become overworked and strained.
The more time spent in this unnatural position, the harder it will become to try and consciously maintain the proper posture at their workstation. Within a short period of time most will come to realize that they are unable to attain the proper posture without posture correction exercises to counteract the unnatural changes that have taken place. The proper exercises for upper back and good posture are key to getting you on the road to recovery.
