If we rid our body of readily available carbohydrates, our bodies down regulate and select fat as its fuel source. Correct Plank Technique

Get into push up position
Lay on your elbows in lieu of holding yourself up with your hands
Make sure you maintain a straight line from your head to your toes
Hold your body up over the ground, just touching it with your toes, forearms, hands and elbows and nothing else
Once you are able to do a plank for a minute straight, enhance the exercise with several variations.
