Exercises to Reduce Cellulite

As many of us know, there are so many products being promoted on getting rid of cellulite, but by far the only thing that will reduce cellulite is a proper exercise routine. In addition, every exercise must include the following six principles, REDUCE

1. Replace all weight and machine lower body exercises with bodyweight exercises.
2. Emphasize each repetition with slow movements for a better workout
3. Don't jump on the No pain No Gain bandwagon because this can slow cellulite reduction.
4. Utilize items around your house to press on when doing lower body exercises, such as an ottoman.
5. Concentrate on moving slowly from one exercise to the next within a 20 second time span
6. Expect visible cellulite reduction within 2-3 weeks of starting your routine exercise if you are working out at least 3 times a week. Sometimes it could be sooner!

The Right Exercises reduce Cellulite

Over and over again, we hear women continue to say that their "Cellulite" is genetics and they have it because it is hereditary. Ladies, please stop blaming your mothers and grandmothers for the loose skin that you have. In all actuality it's not the appearance of the skin that's been passed down genetically but instead it is the natural level of muscle tone. Since the muscle structure directly beneath the 'cellulite' skin area has a tendency to be more atrophied in some women people usually tie it to genetics.

This is definitely a good thing that it is not genetics because it can definitely be fixed with the right exercises. Joey at My Cellulite Cure shows you exactly how to get rid of that cellulite with a simple 22 minute exercise routine.

The Skinny on Cellulite

Here are a few secrets on cellulite that you may or may not know"

1. You have hundreds of muscles in your legs, butt, hips, thighs and your lower stomach area and the problem is that many of us do not exercise them correctly which makes the troubled spots worse. Exercises that use all of these muscles can bring definite results without spending endless amounts of time on exercises that do not work and can cause you muscle injuries.

2. The right combination of exercise variables will give you much better results, regardless of the size of your legs, butt, hips, thighs, and abs.

3. Your body is pretty adaptable when treated properly with the right program as opposed to trying to force change on it with inappropriate, heavy weight-training and uncomfortable machine type exercise programs.

4. Cellulite creams, lotions, wrap treatments, diet and fat burning pills, butt enhancement supplements or any other money wasting scam that sounds too good to be true will not get rid of your cellulite. The only way is through a proper exercise routine.

5. You'll make dramatic improvements in your worst trouble spots and most stubborn problem areas if you do simple, yet carefully structured, bodyweight exercises (no weights & no machines) which combine all three types of muscle movement: Concentric, Eccentric and Isometric.

Exercises that reduce Cellulite

By far, the best and only way to really get rid of cellulite is through proper exercise. Here are a few exercises that will help you get started with cellulite reduction.

Exercise 1: Sit on a sturdy chair. Bend your knees at 90 degree angles, and rest your feet on the floor. Place a pillow between your thighs. As you squeeze the pillow between your legs, exhale, as if you were trying to squeeze the stuffing out of the pillow. Breathe normally and hold for one minute. Release. This exercise works on your inner thighs

Exercise 2: Hold your arms by your sides and bend them at a 90 degree angle to the floor. With alternating legs, try to touch each knee to its corresponding hand.

Exercise 3: This exercise works the outer thighs and hips. Place your palms on the outside of your knees. Push your knees outward against your palms as if you were trying to push your palms away while keeping your arms and palms stationary. Press inward with your hands at the same time, preventing your thighs from pushing them outward. Hold this position for one minute while breathing normally.

Exercise 4: Jogging at a comfortable and controlled pace will benefit the whole body, but is also a great exercise to cut down cellulite on the legs.
