Exercises for Flabby Arms

If you are short on cash and want to cancel your gym membership, or don't have enough time to go to the gym, one thing that you need to invest in is adjustable dumbbells. Here are some home exercises for flabby arms.

Dumbell Hammer Curl

First one is the Dumbbell Hammer curl. Bring the dumbbells up and down. Inhale and exhale gently and repeat this 15-20 times. Second exercise is for the triceps kick backs. Put your left leg back and your right hand on your right knee. Bring your elbow up and bring the dumbbells forward and backward. Then switch to the other side and do the same. Makes sure that your back is flat and look straight ahead. Squeeze the dumbbell all the way to the top and try to hold it for a second. Then put it back down slow and make sure that it doesn't swing. This is a nice set for you to work on your biceps and triceps.

Bicep Curl

Here is another technique that you can try. You need to work with 5 lbs dumbbells. For this set of exercise, you need to do a biceps curl, a shoulder press, rotate your palms in to do a tricep extension then lower the dumbbells to do a lateral raise. Complete each set with twelve repetitions. After a few sets, increase the weight of the dumbbells to increase the level of difficulty. Progression and consistency is very important to improving your fitness level. The body will adapt to the new demands when you increase the number of repetitions or the difficulty of your exercise.

As a beginner you might find these exercises difficult so you can start from 8 repetitions and gradually increase it to 12. Do not push yourself too hard soon because it can cause serious injuries or you might burn yourself out. Consistency is important. Remember that doing a little exercise often is better that doing too much every once in a while. Both sets will give you the same good results. It will help you get slim and sexy arms without your gym membership.
