About Ancient India
Proximately five thousand years ago, India's first major civilization flourished along the Indus River. This civilization is known to own a sophisticated lifestyle, a greatly developed astounding knowledge of town orchestrating and an unreadable script language. It existed at the same time as the antediluvian civilizations of Egypt and Sumer but far outlasted them. Existing for proximately a thousand years the Indus valley civilization fell to natural calamity in about 1700 BC, which caused a series of floods. The advent of the Aryans around 1500 BC, gave the final blow to the collapsing Indus Valley civilisation.
All through the period 2000-500 BCE, many provinces of the Indian subcontinent developed from copper age to iron age cultures. In South India, the large number of megalithic monuments created from this period, and evidence of agriculture, irrigation tanks, and craft traditions suggest succession to deskbound life. The early medieval age (600 CE to 1200 CE) is defined by regional monarchies and cultural multiplicity.
Culture
The Indian culture differs like its substantial geography. People speak in several languages, dress in a different way, follow several religious faiths, eat various foods but are of the same spirit. Whether it is a joyful occasion or a moment of sorrow, people partake whole-heartedly, feeling the glee or twinge. A festival or merriment is never disconcerted to a family or a home. The whole community or neighborhood is occupied in bringing liveliness to the occasion. These multiplicities in race, culture, religion, etc. accounts for the survival of several ethnic groups who live within the sanctums of one nation, admit dissimilar social habits and characteristics. With the governance of 35 different states and union territories in india, there has initiated a sense of regionalism between the various parts, with various states exhibiting different cultures, which although ultimately amalgamate through a prevalent bond to display a national cultural identity.
Women And Men
Attractiveness of Indian women lies in the apparel she wears. Very conventional and cultural yet fashionable Indian Saris are famous worldwide. A sari is worn with a blouse that covers up the upper part of the body. Ghagara-choli is the rural version of sari and very much popular. (Choli is a short blouse that covers the upper part of the body and ghagara is like a long skirt). In order to have a stylish and charming look, women folk worn a duppatta, which is a piece of soft and delicate material of sufficient length thrown over the shoulder.

There are a few thousand Jews in India. In fact Judaism and Christianity might have arrived in India earlier than they arrived in Europe.
