I realize there are a whole lot of you reading this who will not be buying these bags. Just thinking of someone running around wearing a handbag that costs the same as a two-story, four bedroom house on a large chunk of land does something to my tummy. But in these times of economic difficulty, it's so nice to look...and dream. If you're like me, the purse to the left is probably more of an accurate description of what you're carrying. And like me, you probably spend a good portion of your time scraping cookie from the T.V. screen, kissing boo-boos, and getting some type of bodily fluid on you on a daily basis. This is for you. Are Designer Bags More Your Style??
So Here Is A Question For You...
There are many different names for "The Handbag". Aside from being called a handbag, you have purse, tote or tote bag, just plain bag and I get why some would choose to use any of these names to refer to their purse. But the one that I don't get is POCKET BOOK, why do some call it a pocket book? It does not fit in your pocket and it's not a book?

- Ha Ha... I asked a similar question on my lens but I didn't come up with nearly as many names and that is so strange because now that you've said it, I realize my mother called it a "pocket book"! You are so right.... it makes no sense :-)
