The ability to write creatively is an incredible talent 

If anyone has told you that you have a knack for writing, you should consider yourself blessed. Not just anybody can write and write well, especially creative writing.

In order to be able to write good creative writing, you have to be able to come up with an idea, craft a story or poem, and write it well. It is more than just being able to write a good sentence, you need to know how to put it all together.

If you love to write and you want to become a novelist, poet, short story writer, or other creative writer, just keep writing and work your hardest at it. There is no substitute for practice and persistence.

Creative Writing should be consistent 

In order to improve your creative writing technique and skills, it is important to always keep writing. Don't give up!

The more breaks you take when writing, the more likely you'll keep putting it off until you forget completely.

Come up with a writing schedule and stick to it. If writing is just a side hobby for you, decide to spend 10, 15, or 30 minutes each day writing. Even if it's only writing in your journal, just keep writing.
