Here's what you need to know.
Anybody who's anybody has been confronted by dozens of schemes that allow you to make loads of money by doing virtually nothing.If you don't know it already, the majority of people who promise to make you a millionaire in a week are scamming like crazy. Most of the programs they offer are illegal in some way, and they will just take your money. **NEVER EVER pay to join a 'survey' company!!!** So you have two options. You could make up some scheme like they do and risk pounding out license plates at the state pen.
On the other hand, you could try out a free site that pays you small amounts of cash or rewards you points that can be converted into cash, gift certificates, or sweepstakes entries.

- PineCone Research
- This has easily become my favorite survey site. While I am wary of sharing the details (because it could get me 'fired' by PineCone), trust me when I say this is a great site.
However, registering isn't as easy as we would all like it to be. You have to search around and find the PineCone banner ad in order to sign up.

- FocusLine
- Rewards: Cash upon completion of online surveys and focus groups.
There is no minimum payout, and all studies are conducted online. You must be at least 13 yrs old to register. International individuals are accepted. - Keynote
- Rewards: Cash and gift cards. No minimum payout.

- This Australian-based survey site may seem a bit strange to most people, but it's very similar to most other points-based survey sites out there.
Rewards: Earn points by completing profile and weekly questionnaires. Points may be redeemed for vouchers, cash, gifts, and charitable donations. - TestSpin.
- This company offers paid surveys that vary in value (usually $1-10). They pay out in $10 Amazon gift certificates that are instantly emailed to you. TestSpin is also pretty quick about crediting your account with completed surveys.

These sites require registration (which is free) and completion of surveys to be eligible for rewards.
- Survey Spot
- This is my favorite one of them all. I've already made over $70 in the past two months. Rewards: Sweepstakes entries and cash ranging between $3 and $20 each. $5 minimum payout.
- Greenfield Online
- This site is very similar to Survey Spot and just as good. Rewards: Sweepstakes entries and cash. They also offer interactive surveys that pay around $25 each. No minimum for payout.
- Focus Forward Online
- Rewards: Cash for completed surveys and online focus groups. Earn $2 for each referral who completes at least one survey.
- E-Poll
- Rewards: Entries into monthly prize drawings and points redeemable for gift certificates and prizes.
- Esearch
- Rewards: Cash and sweepstakes entries. Pay-out upon completion of cash surveys. Paypal account required.
- Global Opinion Panels
- Rewards: Sweepstakes entries. Longer surveys may reward cash or other prizes.
- Ipsos i-Say
- Rewards: Sweepstakes entries and prizes.
- Lightspeed Panel
- Rewards: Points to be redeemed for gift certificates, including Paypal deposits.
