For The Child Who Has Everything
These playhouses aren't your typical thrown together from wood stored in a shed. Hardly!
Exclusively from PoshTots, and truly amazing. The group searches the world over for exceptional and creative furniture that will spark the imagination of children, and along the way have caught the attention of some of tinsel town's hottest stars. Such a love for children can be seen in all their products. The furniture, clothes, and yes the playhouses.
Here you will see a glimpse at their line of the most extravagant playhouses available.
About PoshTots
PoshTots.com is a company started in 2000 by dot.com moms with a love of children and unique art. When it comes to furnishing your child's room, selecting inspiring furniture is only part of the picture.
The magic is in how you put it all together.
Founders Karen Adams and Andrea Edmunds share a common vision. A child's room is more than just a place to sleep. It is a place to play, learn, dream and grow. An environment where a child can enjoy all the simple pleasures of being a child. Creating that kind of environment is no small challenge. It requires finding just the right furnishings and accessories, then combining them in a way that mirrors the child's personality and interests.
Karen and Andrea's innovative design work has been featured in People Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, House Beautiful, InStyle, Better Homes and Gardens, along with many other national publications.

They are known as the "designers of choice" not only for many Hollywood Moms, but for clients around the globe. They have appeared on Access Hollywood, Good Morning America, Dr. Phil, and countless other television design shows. Their unique style and commitment to the finest craftsmanship has established PoshTots as the destination for the world's most extraordinary children's furnishings.
A lot of serious thinking goes into a PoshTots room design.
But we think children deserve it.
If you are looking for the best-of-the-best in nursery and children's decor, look no further than Posh Tots. The web site of choice for many celebrity parents, Posh Tots features luxury baby bedding and top end baby furniture and accessories.

But first let's take a look at their exculsive line of "Playhouses!"
Victorian Playhouse

The Victorian Playhouse has a front porch, turret, cedar-shingled gable, scrollwork accents, octagonal window, shingled roof, and bay window with window boxes (shown here with a yellow exterior with white, soft blue and lavender trim). Designed and built by Alan Mowrer, this playhouse can be constructed with countless interior and exterior options. Whether its cable, running water, electricity, central air or a wireless communication system, Alan can accommodate your wishes. Other architectural styles are also available from fairy tale cottages to rustic cabins or even a miniature replica of your home. Comprehensive interior design services are also available through designer Michelle Pollak who helps clients with a variety of interior details such as window treatments, moldings, paint colors, furnishings, rugs and flooring including wood, marble or Mexican tile. Each playhouse is a custom piece; with Alan and Michelle the possibilities are endless.
Windermere Mansion Playhouse

The Lord and Lady invite you to their Windermere Mansion! Rich in Victorian charm and gingerbread detailing, this 8x16 play-mansion features 17 working safety-glass windows, eight sets of shutters and window boxes, and a covered entry with child-sized Dutch door. Climb the ladder to the turret loft for a private retreat. An adult-size door is included, too. Quality construction features 2x3 framing and trusses, Duratemp siding and outside corner trim.

Adding A Playhouse
Plan the Location Carefully: As with any play structures in your yard, you'll want to site your playhouse so it's visible from one or two main windows - perhaps your kitchen or family room, so that monitoring your kids is an easy task. You'll want to be sure that play activities are easily in sight to watch for falls, mishaps or unruly behavior.
Consider "Fall Zones": For play equipment and the adventure houses like the Pirate Ship, measure out from each ladder, set of steps, swings, porches or balconies to about 6 feet or so. This will give your kids enough room for jumping, climbing and playing with friends without interference from shrubs and other plantings. This is also a good rule for swingsets, slides and climbing structures. Measure out a safe falling distance from the sides of these structures as well - you know how kids are. Fall zones are standard measures calculated into all professional playgrounds as part of the National Playground Safety Institute standards.

Make Your Walkways Safe: If you're adding an enticing cobblestone or flagstone walkway to your Playhouse, set those stones and pavers flush with the ground to prevent tripping and to allow easy maintenance and mowing.
Decorate with Your Child: Once you've had your playhouse installed, now the fun can begin! Why not sit down with your child and plan some decorating ideas for the interior. What kinds of toys should be in the house to share with friends. Imagine what games you might play in there and then equip the kitchen and cupboards with fun activities. Let your child choose the curtains, area rugs and theme of their adventurehouse interior - this will be grand fun for you both.
